MT. MANALMON

October 26 - 27, 2013

MT. MANALMON
( SES Fun Climb Event )

Another climb for the month of October. I thought that this event would be postponed due to the recent storm that passed San Miguel, Bulacan. Glad that the weather was fine when we arrived although we still saw the damage that this storm had brought.

It was a successful event and we all have to thank Macel and Xoy for this wonderful weekend we had. You can see our group picture and the one who took the picture was Sir Carlos. I just hope we'll have another activity like this.

BAYUKBOK CAVE (Spelunking)

October 26 - 27, 2013

BAYUKBOK CAVE
( SES Spelunking Experience )

SES fun climb event with spelunking experience

It's another fulfilling experience we had over the weekend. Good to have bonding time again with my friends. Hmm ... what can I say about our spelunking experience? It was great! We all had fun. I'm glad that Myra and Sir Carlos joined us as well as Pol and Mark. By the way, the picture above is the entrance of Bayukbok cave. The photo was taken by Xoy since he's the only one who's not in the picture. Thanks Xoy!

TAGAYTAY'S BEST ITINERARY

July 13-14, 2013

TAGAYTAY TOUR
( Picnic Grove, Sky Ranch, People's Park in the Sky, Sonyas garden, Leslie's Bulalo )

Tagaytay is one of the tourist spot which I would have to say nearest to Manila. Instead of travelling more than four hours just for a weekend get-away, why not try Tagaytay. Nearest to Metro Manila that I'm sure you won't be needing too much money just to relax on your weekend. There are lots of places you can visit here. One of my favorite in Tagaytay is Picnic Grove. Next will have to be Sonyas garden. I'll show you the pictures  that we have taken when we visited Tagaytay.

SIGAYAN BAY BEACH RESORT, LAIYA

March 15-16, 2010
SIGAYAN BAY BEACH RESORT
( Critical Team Building )

Another summer outing for our team. This was my first time going to Laiya, Batangas. I've heard about their wonderful beaches and good accommodations. It was surprising to see that the place was truly beautiful. There were plenty of activities we did. One of the activities that I enjoyed a lot was snorkeling. Our team took plenty of pictures as a remembrance our our Laiya trip.

KABAYAN BEACH RESORT, LAIYA

August 18-19, 2012

KABAYAN BEACH, LAIYA
(MSIE-GLP team building)

Laiya, Batangas is known for its wonderful beaches that's why there are lots of beach resort accommodations that you can choose from for a summer get-away. This was my second time going to Laiya, Batangas. The first one was in Sigayan Bay beach resort where we had our Critical team building.

BALER (Surfing)

June 15-17, 2013
BALER
( plus Millennium tree, Mother falls, Ermita Hill & Digist beach )

Baler is a well-known surfing spot in Aurora, Philippines especially when summer comes. Sherwin was the one who organized this trip. I'm glad that Chris invited me to join their surfing plan. I thought that this trip was all about surfing but they spiced it up with different activities that includes trekking, climbing and surfing. Honestly, I don't know how to swim so I'm hesitant if I'm going to join this event or not but Karen indulged me to try since it's not all about surfing. I'm glad that I did.

BOLO BEACH

May 12, 2012

BOLO BEACH
(Kayaking)

How could we ever miss Bolo beach?! This place is good for Kayaking activities. It was my first time to do kayaking so I'm excited that my aunt decided to come here. Bolo beach is located in Alaminos, Pangasinan. I suggest that you should try visiting Bolo beach after your Hundred Islands tour. It's just an hour ride from Hundred Islands.

SAGADA ADVENTURE PART iii - Kiltepan Peak

May 31 - June 3, 2013
SAGADA ADVENTURE PART iii
(Day 3 - Kiltepan Peak)

The third part of my Sagada blog is all about our last itinerary which was Kiltepan Peak. We were all exhausted after our spelunking adventure so most of us woke up late. It was already past 5:00 am when we woke up. Some of us decided not to go to Kiltepan but even if I had body aches I will not miss to go here. It was really amazing to see the clouds. For us who were able to see this view, I would have to say that you don't need to ride a plane just to see this. It's all for free. All you need to do is pack up your things and visit Sagada's well-known "Kiltepan Peak".

SAGADA ADVENTURE PART ii.b - Pong-as Falls, Lumiang & Sumaguing Caves (Spelunking)

May 31 - June 3, 2013
SAGADA ADVENTURE PART ii.b
(Day 2 - Pong-as falls, Lumiang & Sumaguing Cave)

Spelunking is one of the adventure that I'd love to do once again. I'll share to you our pictures from the entrance of the Lumiang cave going out to Sumaguing cave. Kuya Kirky and his professional team were the ones who guided us all the way out to the two caves. It took us 7 (seven) hours from Lumiang to Sumaguing caves. Well, we were not in a hurry because we often took pictures whenever we had a chance.

One thing I have to advise when you do spelunking is to take off your sandals. It's the best thing to do since the path was slippery. We all tied our sandals on our risk so we won't lose them.

SAGADA ADVENTURE PART ii.a - Pong-as Falls, Lumiang & Sumaguing Caves (Spelunking)

May 31 - June 3, 2013
SAGADA ADVENTURE PART ii.a
(Day 2 - Pong-as falls, Lumiang & Sumaguing Cave)

Second part of my Sagada adventure was more on spelunking activities. I have to admit that I was scared and excited when they told me that we'll all be doing spelunking. It was my first time to do this kind of activity so I'm very thankful to Rosa and Eric for this wonderful opportunity. This was never easy for me since I'm short, I have to give extra effort to reach the rocks and climb up on the steep parts. But one thing is for sure, I'd love to go to this place again!

SAGADA ADVENTURE PART i (Trekking)

May 31 - June 3, 2013

SAGADA ADVENTURE PART I
(Day 1 - Mt. Ampacao Trekking)

 "A lovely sight to see"
(got this picture from Mavic)

I always wanted to go to this place three years ago when I saw my team lead's post via facebook but I never had a chance. Luckily, my friend invited me to their outdoor get-away. Sagada is a MUST-see place! We traveled for almost thirteen hours from Cubao to Sagada, Mt. Province. Though it was tiring, but seeing such a beautiful place it's like winning a novel price.

ANAWANGIN, CAPONES & NAGSASA COVE

May 18 & 19, 2013

ANAWANGIN, CAPONES & NAGSASA COVE

Beauty of Nagsasa Cove

It was my second time going to these islands but for Nagsasa Cove, it was my first. We planned going to Anawangin for about a month and after a few challenges we were able to accomplish our final itinerary. For those people who want a detailed itinerary going to Zambales, I have it here. Below is our itinerary going to Iba, Zambales.

MT. CRISTOBAL (a.k.a. Devil's Mountain)

May 11 & 12, 2013
DEVIL'S MOUNTAIN

(Our traditional summit circle cult pose)

Why do they call it the Devil's mountain? They say that the mountain is enchanted. Some people advised to take extra pre-caution when trekking here. There were events that happened which cannot be explained. I don't believe in ghosts and supernatural beings since I've never seen one. When we came here, it was perfect. Everything just fall into place. I didn't encountered anything supernatural same goes with my colleagues.

HUNDRED ISLANDS

May 11, 2012

HUNDRED ISLANDS

I never thought I'd be able to see this lovely place. My mom lived in Pangasinan when she was young. We often visit my grandfather whenever we have a chance. It's always been on my plan to check Hundred Islands unfortunately, I haven't got enough savings during that time. Pangasinan contains a lot of tourist spots. One of the tourist attraction is Hundred Islands. I have to say that opportunity comes in unexpected moments so better grab it! I invited my Tita Dhel and Uncle Graham to try island hopping and they both agreed. I suggested that we should see the beautiful place called Hundred Islands. I made an itinerary for Hundred Islands. To be honest, I just copied it from another site that I visited before I came up on my own.

MT. DAGULDOL ADVENTURE

April 13-14, 2013

FIRST SUMMIT

To all those peepz who are interested in doing adventurous activities, I indulge you to try mountaineering. This was not my first climb but it was my first time that I reached the summit. I enjoyed this activity because I knew I had accomplished something again. I proved once again that with difficulties comes happiness. It was an amazing experience to be able to reach the top! I took pictures of our trail going to summit as well as the shots we had early morning at the summit.
