BALER (Surfing)

June 15-17, 2013
BALER
( plus Millennium tree, Mother falls, Ermita Hill & Digist beach )

Baler is a well-known surfing spot in Aurora, Philippines especially when summer comes. Sherwin was the one who organized this trip. I'm glad that Chris invited me to join their surfing plan. I thought that this trip was all about surfing but they spiced it up with different activities that includes trekking, climbing and surfing. Honestly, I don't know how to swim so I'm hesitant if I'm going to join this event or not but Karen indulged me to try since it's not all about surfing. I'm glad that I did.

BOLO BEACH

May 12, 2012

BOLO BEACH
(Kayaking)

How could we ever miss Bolo beach?! This place is good for Kayaking activities. It was my first time to do kayaking so I'm excited that my aunt decided to come here. Bolo beach is located in Alaminos, Pangasinan. I suggest that you should try visiting Bolo beach after your Hundred Islands tour. It's just an hour ride from Hundred Islands.

SAGADA ADVENTURE PART iii - Kiltepan Peak

May 31 - June 3, 2013
SAGADA ADVENTURE PART iii
(Day 3 - Kiltepan Peak)

The third part of my Sagada blog is all about our last itinerary which was Kiltepan Peak. We were all exhausted after our spelunking adventure so most of us woke up late. It was already past 5:00 am when we woke up. Some of us decided not to go to Kiltepan but even if I had body aches I will not miss to go here. It was really amazing to see the clouds. For us who were able to see this view, I would have to say that you don't need to ride a plane just to see this. It's all for free. All you need to do is pack up your things and visit Sagada's well-known "Kiltepan Peak".

SAGADA ADVENTURE PART ii.b - Pong-as Falls, Lumiang & Sumaguing Caves (Spelunking)

May 31 - June 3, 2013
SAGADA ADVENTURE PART ii.b
(Day 2 - Pong-as falls, Lumiang & Sumaguing Cave)

Spelunking is one of the adventure that I'd love to do once again. I'll share to you our pictures from the entrance of the Lumiang cave going out to Sumaguing cave. Kuya Kirky and his professional team were the ones who guided us all the way out to the two caves. It took us 7 (seven) hours from Lumiang to Sumaguing caves. Well, we were not in a hurry because we often took pictures whenever we had a chance.

One thing I have to advise when you do spelunking is to take off your sandals. It's the best thing to do since the path was slippery. We all tied our sandals on our risk so we won't lose them.

SAGADA ADVENTURE PART ii.a
(Day 2 - Pong-as falls, Lumiang & Sumaguing Cave)

Second part of my Sagada adventure was more on spelunking activities. I have to admit that I was scared and excited when they told me that we'll all be doing spelunking. It was my first time to do this kind of activity so I'm very thankful to Rosa and Eric for this wonderful opportunity. This was never easy for me since I'm short, I have to give extra effort to reach the rocks and climb up on the steep parts. But one thing is for sure, I'd love to go to this place again!
